A west-facing glass façade can run 40°C hotter than the room behind it through the afternoon. The fixes — solid blinds, applied panels, glass replacement — all change how the building looks. Heat-control film changes the heat without changing the look, because the film stays clear or near-clear depending on grade.
We supply and install solar-control window film to existing glazing — including high-rise façades that need rope access or boom-lift work. Films are specified by VLT (visible light transmission), SHGC (solar heat gain coefficient) and IR rejection figures matched to the brief. Manufacturer warranties cover the film and the install separately.
Typical applications: west-facing office façades, conference and meeting rooms with afternoon sun, retail glass that needs to stay shoppable in summer, residential glass walls with HVAC overload.
